I am a registered psychologist, author and workplace facilitator. My PhD focused on evaluating the effects of using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), otherwise known as tapping, for anxiety in primary school children in Darwin, schools, with very positive outcomes.
My first book, Longing to Live: Journey with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, published in 2013, received an Honourable Mention in the London Book Festival. My second book, Longing to Live Mindfully: Little Words that make a Difference, released in 2016 is raising funds for ChildFund Australia, helping to reduce poverty for children in developing countries.
I have been a regular writer for the South West Voice newspaper with focus on health and wellbeing. My health articles underscore my belief in the interflow of the body, mind and spirit, and the importance of healing and nurturing each aspect of ourselves in order to achieve optimum health and wellbeing and to come closer to reaching our potential.
As a speaker, I’ve been privileged to present at conferences both in Australia and overseas and on a number of occasions have been guest speaker to a variety of audiences.

Born and raised in Kiama, New South Wales, I have lived most of her life in the Northern Territory, working and living in remote communities and in Darwin. In 2004, I established my psychology and coaching practice, Connect Counselling Services in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. I am a Registered Supervisor for mental health professionals and an Advanced Practitioner of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or Tapping.
