_MG_9390reduced2Dr Margaret Lambert:

I am a registered psychologist, author and workplace facilitator.  My PhD focused on evaluating the effects of using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), otherwise known as tapping, for anxiety in primary school children in Darwin, schools, with very positive outcomes.

My first book, Longing to Live: Journey with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, published in 2013, received an Honourable Mention in the London Book Festival. My second book, Longing to Live Mindfully: Little Words that make a Difference, released in 2016 is raising funds for ChildFund Australia, helping to reduce poverty for children in developing countries.

I have been a regular writer for the South West Voice newspaper with focus on health and wellbeing. My health articles underscore my belief in the interflow of the body, mind and spirit, and the importance of healing and nurturing each aspect of ourselves in order to achieve optimum health and wellbeing and to come closer to reaching our potential.

As a speaker, I’ve been privileged to present at conferences both in Australia and overseas and on a number of occasions have been guest speaker to a variety of audiences.

Dr Marg is currently scheduling speaking engagements and can be contacted Here.

Born and raised in Kiama, New South Wales, I have lived most of her life in the Northern Territory, working and living in remote communities and in Darwin. My personal struggles and illness with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) / Fibromyalgia (FM) have led to my interest in energy therapies and Energy Psychology.

In 2004, I established my psychology and coaching practice, Connect Counselling Services in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. I am a Registered Supervisor for mental health professionals and an Advanced Practitioner of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or Tapping. I have studied these techniques with Gary Craig, the founder of EFT in Chicago, along with Dr Mercola, Dr Carol Look and Dr Susan Lee Smith with focus on: “EFT and Serious Diseases”. I have also studied EFT with David Lake and Steve Wells in Sydney. In addition to Psychology, I am qualified in Education and Library & Information Science and I have been an educator across all levels from pre-school through to university.
